Grade A – ‘Pass’ This is the best grade a tenant can receive, as they have passed all aspects of the referencing carried out.
Grade B with a Grade A Guarantor – The tenant hasn’t met all of the referencing criteria, therefore a grade A guarantor is required.
Grade B with a Top-Up Tenancy – The tenant hasn’t met the affordability check, however they choose to pay a lump sum of the rent upfront, which then lowers the rental amount.
