In April 2023, we were acquired by Pivotal Growth, a company established with the purpose of investing in and supporting growing profitable mortgage intermediaries. First2Protect is proud to offer coverage for all UK postcodes, including a strong proposition for Northern Ireland’s BT postcode. The BT postcode has been a notoriously problematic area for insurance partners to cover. However, our insurance expertise, combined with our ability to manually underwrite risks and the strong relationships we have with our insurer panel, means that we can offer coverage in this area. Typically, we can underwrite most cases using our technology solution, with little manual intervention required.
We are proud of our retention rate of 90.65%. This means that we retain most of our cases year after year, not only because of the intensive research we undertake to secure our customers the best possible deal but also from our ongoing communication throughout the lifetime of their policy.
