The creation of Arc Legal Group in April 2022 (to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Arc) brought together the expertise of three integrated businesses across the UK to create a specialist Legal Expenses and ancillary insurance provider.
Through steady organic growth since its formation in 2003, and a number of strategic group acquisitions in the Legal Expenses Insurance, Assistance, and Accident, Sickness & Employment market, Arc has become the market leader in ancillary products and services.
The business model is ‘tried and tested’ by major insurance providers and Arc constantly innovates to enhance the customer experience and deliver continued value-added benefits to corporate partners’ customers.
A service-first business with service innovation, value measures and bespoke solutions at the heart of the company’s structure, Arc creates products that deliver genuine value to customers. This value focus has been a cornerstone of the business for several years, pre-dating recent Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) initiatives. Arc has a significant track record of delivering feature-rich, sustainable solutions to distribution partners both at product inception and on an on-going basis.
Another critical aspect of the business model is not operating or offering standard ‘off the shelf’ products. Each of the 1,200+ schemes under Arc’s management has been tailored to meet the partners’ and their customers’ exact requirements.
Arc regularly carries out product and market reviews, which allows them to continuously improve and innovate both their products and service delivery, keeping them in line or above market standard. All developments are made with the customer in mind and with the aim of improving their experience where possible. Arc completes annual FVA’s, the most recent of which was concluded in August 2023.
